Warren County Jail Records Start Here
The official Warren County jail records channel is the Warren County Sheriff's Department Jail Info page. Research did not locate a searchable, current-inmate roster with a name box, booking-date filter, housing field, or public profile page. Instead, the jail page posts weekly arrest-report PDFs. Those reports are useful, but they are not the same as a live custody list. A person can be booked, bonded out, transferred, held for another agency, or moved into a court process after the weekly report is created.
Warren County Jail is operated by the Warren County Sheriff's Department. The sheriff site identifies Sheriff Kevin Harrison and lists the department at 104 W. Main St., Suite A, Warrenton, MO 63383, with the office phone at 636-456-4332 and dispatch at 636-456-7088. Use those channels when the public PDF does not answer the live custody question. The same sheriff site also has a records clerk directory and a general contact form, but no dedicated online Sunshine Law form for booking records was found.
County jail records cover local booking and detention. They do not replace Missouri Department of Corrections records for sentenced prison custody, the Federal Bureau of Prisons locator for sentenced federal custody, the U.S. Marshals route for federal pretrial custody, or ICE's locator for immigration detention. That split matters in Warren County because the weekly arrest reports can show outside agencies, fugitive holds, city cases, and bond labels that do not prove where the person is today.
Use Warren County Arrest Reports
The county lookup method is a PDF workflow. Open the newest weekly report from the sheriff's jail page, then search within the PDF using the browser or PDF viewer. The reports reviewed were titled as Warren County Sheriff's Department arrestee reports and were generated by Omnigo Software. They listed arrest weeks such as 17MAY2026 through 23MAY2026, 24MAY2026 through 30MAY2026, 31MAY2026 through 6JUN2026, and 7JUN2026 through 13JUN2026. Each report is free to view and does not require a login.
- Start at the sheriff's Jail Info page and choose the weekly arrest report that matches the likely booking week.
- Use the PDF find command to search by last name. Try alternate spellings if the name is common or hyphenated.
- Read the booking number, agency held for, arresting agency, charge text, and bond line before assuming the record is still active.
- Call the Sheriff's Office at 636-456-4332 to confirm current custody, bond status, release, transfer, or another-agency hold.
- If the person was sentenced to prison or moved out of county custody, search the MODOC, BOP, USMS, or ICE channels that fit the case.
A Warren County booking report is best treated as a starting point. The arrest charge in a jail report can differ from the formal charge filed in court, and a bond line can change after a judge reviews the case. For the court side, use Case.net and the Warren County Circuit Clerk after checking the jail report. For booking photos, use the dedicated mugshot page because the weekly PDFs reviewed did not show photos.
Warren County Roster Search Fields
Because Warren County does not publish a conventional public roster form in the sources located, the county search fields are really PDF fields and visible report labels. The public tool is not a database with first-name, last-name, date, and facility boxes. It is a dated weekly report that can be searched as text. That makes exact spelling and the arrest week more important than filter selection.
| Field Label | Type | Required | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| Weekly Arrest Report link | PDF link list | n/a | Date ranges are shown by week, such as 7JUN2026 through 13JUN2026. |
| PDF text search | Browser or PDF viewer find | No | Search by last name; there are no official web filters or sorting controls. |
| Name | Visible report field | n/a | Names appear in last, first, middle order. |
| Arrest Agency | Visible report field | n/a | Entries can show Warren County Sheriff's Department, Warrenton PD, Wright City PD, Truesdale, MSHP, or another agency. |
| Agency Held For | Visible report field | n/a | This can identify Warren County, a city, another county, or fugitive status. |
| Booking Number | Visible report field | n/a | Recent report examples used a YYYY-#### format. |
| Bond Type / Amount | Visible report field | n/a | Examples include cash only, surety, recognizance, summons, no bond, and shared bond. |
Note: If a PDF entry says bonded, complete, summons, fugitive, or no bond, call the jail before treating the entry as current custody.
What Warren County Inmate Records Show
Warren County inmate records in the weekly report are not full jail profiles. They do not show a mugshot, date of birth, street address, height, weight, eye color, hair color, housing unit, medical detail, projected release date, or a clickable inmate page. They do show the core booking facts needed to identify the arrest event and ask better follow-up questions. That is why the booking number, agency held for, and bond line should be saved before calling the jail or records clerk.
| Field | What It Shows |
|---|---|
| Report header | The sheriff's department name, Warren County arrestee label, and the report date range. |
| Name | The listed person, usually in last, first, middle format. |
| Race / Sex / Age | Basic identifying fields shown inline after the name. |
| Arrest agency and officer | The agency and officer information tied to the booking entry. |
| Agency held for | The local, city, county, fugitive, or other-agency reason the person is held. |
| Booking number | The jail identifier tied to that booking event. |
| Charges | Plain-language charge text, sometimes with FTA, FUG, PAW, RPAW, complete, bonded, or probation-violation labels. |
| Bond | The bond type and amount shown for the charge, when listed. |
Warren County Custody vs DOC
The county report covers the county-jail stage. A pretrial detainee, a short-sentence county inmate, a city arrestee routed to the county jail, or a person held on another-agency paperwork may appear there. Once a Warren County case results in a state-prison sentence, the county report is no longer the right lookup source. Use the Missouri Department of Corrections Offender Search for active state offenders, including incarcerated people, probationers, and parolees.
| Custody Type | Where to Look | What to Expect |
|---|---|---|
| County jail booking | Warren County weekly arrest report | Booking number, charge text, arrest agency, held-for agency, and bond clues. |
| Current county custody | Sheriff's Office phone or in-person records contact | Live confirmation of custody, release, bond, transfer, or holds. |
| State prison or supervision | Missouri DOC Offender Search | Active MODOC custody, probation, parole, aliases, and facility or supervision location when available. |
| Sentenced federal custody | BOP inmate locator | Federal inmates from 1982 to present, with release-date caveats. |
| Immigration detention | ICE Online Detainee Locator | Search by A-number or biographical data when ICE custody is possible. |
The MODOC Offender Search page uses first name, last name, and a captcha before showing active offender information.
Use the MODOC search after a Warren County jail record stops being useful because the person has moved into state custody or state supervision.
Warren County Jail Contact Card
Only one detention facility was confirmed for Warren County in the research map. The Warren County Jail is the primary facility, and no separate county work-release center, regional jail, state prison, BOP prison, or ICE detention center was found inside Warren County. Municipal arrests from Warrenton, Wright City, Truesdale, Foristell, and other local agencies can still feed into the county system when booked at the jail.

Visitation schedule: verify with the jail before arrival.
The Missouri DPS POST recruitment PDF cited in the research says the jail was renovated in 2019 and has 156 beds. The sheriff jail page also references visitation and inmate handbook downloads, but the accessible text did not expose a full schedule, vendor list, mail rule set, or deposit fee table. That gap should be handled by calling the jail, not by relying on a generic county-jail rule from another Missouri county.
Warren County Booking Records
A Warren County booking record begins after an arresting agency brings or routes the person into the jail process. The weekly reports show arrests by the Warren County Sheriff's Department, Warrenton PD, Wright City PD, Truesdale, Missouri State Highway Patrol, Boone County, and other agencies. Staff enter the person's name, race, sex, age, arrest agency, officer, agency held for, booking number, charges, and bond information. The report is the public output of that process, not a full intake file.
Several abbreviations in the weekly reports point to court or hold issues. FTA means failure to appear. A fugitive or other-agency label can mean another jurisdiction controls release. A detainer or hold is a legal reason another agency asks the jail not to release the person without more steps. Recognizance, often shown as RECOG, means release based on a promise to appear, sometimes with conditions. PAW and RPAW appeared in the reports, but the research did not confirm a public local definition, so those labels should be verified with the sheriff or court before being interpreted.
Warren County Jail Visit Rules
The sheriff's Jail Info page labels an About Jail Visitation download and an Inmate Handbook download. The available research did not extract the full visit schedule, visitor ID rules, dress code, video-visit vendor, lobby hours, or visit-length limits. The correct build choice is to say the rules must be confirmed with Warren County Jail before travel. Do not rely on a statewide DOC visit page for county jail visits, because MODOC rules apply to state prisons and supervision, not the county jail lobby.
| Topic | Warren County Source Detail | Practical Use |
|---|---|---|
| In-person visitation | Jail Info page labels an About Jail Visitation download. | Call 636-456-4332 before visiting. |
| Visitor ID and dress code | No accessible official text found. | Verify with jail staff before arrival. |
| Video visitation | No vendor or schedule located. | Do not assume video visits are available. |
| Mail rules | Inmate Handbook download label found. | Ask the jail for current mail format and restrictions. |
| Money and commissary | Missouri law allows sheriff commissary systems, but no Warren vendor was found. | Confirm accepted deposit methods with the jail. |
| Meals | Jail page states cold breakfast, hot lunch, and hot dinner on a recurring 28-day menu. | Use as local facility context, not as a search feature. |
Request Missing Warren County Records
Missouri's Sunshine Law gives the public access to many law-enforcement records, but it also allows exceptions. RSMo 610.100 makes incident reports and arrest reports open records while investigative reports are generally closed until inactive. The Missouri Attorney General Sunshine Law resource explains public access to records of public governmental bodies. For Warren County inmate records that are not in the weekly PDF, contact the Sheriff's Office or records clerk staff and identify the name, booking number, arrest week, and exact record requested.
The sheriff site has a general contact form and a records clerk directory. The online forms page lists crime tips, feedback, extra patrol, vacation security check, animal bite, CCW, civil process, prosecution waiver, and prosecution request forms, but no dedicated jail-record request form was found. That means a written Chapter 610 request or direct office contact is the practical route for booking details, arrest reports, or mugshot questions that the public PDFs do not answer.
Note: Confirm custody with Warren County Jail before sending money, traveling for a visit, or relying on a weekly bond entry.
Federal Search and MOVANS Notices
Federal and immigration custody should be handled outside the Warren County weekly arrest reports. BOP's public locator covers sentenced federal inmates from 1982 to present. The U.S. Marshals Eastern District of Missouri handles federal pretrial custody questions, and USMS explains that many pre-sentenced federal prisoners are housed in federal, state, local, or private jails through contracts. ICE's locator is separate again and searches by A-number or biographical data when immigration detention is possible.
The BOP inmate locator is useful when a Warren County case has become a sentenced federal case rather than a county jail matter.
BOP results should not be used to confirm a new county booking or a federal pretrial hold, because those can involve the jail or U.S. Marshals before a sentenced BOP record exists.
For notifications, Missouri uses MOVANS. Missouri DPS announced on May 6, 2026 that local jail and detention notifications require updated registration at the MOVANS site, and that some users no longer receive phone or VINELink app notices. SMS and email registration are the main public notice channels described in that update. No dedicated Warren County sheriff app or app-only roster was confirmed in the research.
